More than just a visit to the urologist
Only 15-20 % of all male Germans make use of cancer prevention examinations.
For comparison: 60% of all female Germans do so. Especially in view of prostate cancer there is a need for action. Fear, shame or ignorance often lead to the neglect of preventive check ups. MfM talked about the role of urology within the framework of health care with the urologists Matthias Schmidt, M.D. and Wolfgang Nagel, M.D. of the Medizinisches Zentrum Bonn Friedensplatz (Medical Centre Bonn Friedensplatz).
